I have been using my S2 Pro for 2 weeks and have driven around 40 km so far. The pickup is very good, and I am satisfied with the battery performance as well. I've taken 8 to 10 kms round trips and have only needed to charge it once in 3 days. Although the range is 40 km per charge, it doesn't seem to reach that distance, but I still think it's acceptable for a mid-range e-scooter.

The only issue I've encountered is riding on pedestrian pathways made of cement blocks; it doesn't feel very comfortable. Other than that, the customer care team has been very quick in responding. They even sent me a mobile holder when I requested a price match, which was very kind of them.

I’ll definitely update my review after a few more months of usage. Overall, I am happy with my first scooter so far.

Thank you for the smooth transaction, this escooter is a gift for my husband for our anniversary because I can see that he walks far going to his work in an industrial area, we are new here in Canada hence we dont have a car yet. However please check because apart from the damaged box when it arrived, the power button has a big scratch on it when we opened it.

Over all it seems good, however I am in a cold climate and there is snow everywhere so not using it much, Wish it had a better water protection rating and the owners manual gave more details on all the indicators on the electronic display...same for the regenerating braking system, is there a light on the display indicating something. It seems it is but no explanation in the manual or display. So I have giving it a 4star review, but do like this scooter for its price point and love the bling...

Very easy to ride and responsive scooter. It’s very fast 31kmph. Battery life is very good. Super easy to load it in the trunk. I wish it had soft suspension in the front. Very harsh/stiff ride on the sidewalk.

It doesn't have the range it says it does. Maybe 16-18 miles. Speed does what it says it does. App is helpful. The whole thing is built pretty solid. Make sure the handlebar latch is fully in place!!! I've had it some undone on me before, that sucked but its on me. What really gets me though is that I literally left this thing strapped to my front stoop through a Boston winter and it just turned on and drove like nothing happened. Even maintained the charge I left it with. What a champion.

Great for commuting! I have a seven mile commute and this is a wonderful way to get there! I have gotten to work on my bike but it’s a sweaty endeavor! This Gives me an eco friendly way to get to work that is fun and refreshing! I love that I don’t have to worry about flat tires too! Great pick up and it takes me about 30 minutes to get to work only using 35% of my battery life. On the way home, I only use 25% of the battery life since it is a gradual down hill ride all the way there.

Got this badboy to commute, I used to have a cheaper escooter of another brand that couldn't handle the hills I need to climb for work but this one does the job super well. Previous scooter would take 45 minutes to reach my workplace and this one gets the job in less than 30 minutes, I can even commute back home in less than 20 minutes. Generally I charge it at the end of the second shift, if I ride it in Drive mode instead if Sports mode though it can definitely extend the battery span for more days before the next charge. The ride is smooth and it handles cracked streets and sidewalks with no issues, doubles brakes are practical as well, the red lightstrips that shine bright on the board as well as the strong headlight allows for you to remain visible late at night. The wide board allows for you to stand comfortably without having to readjust your stance for a long time. The scooter might appear intimidatingly tall in person but is actually quite easy to retain balance on.

My thoughts on this electric scooter are great I'm extremely satisfied with it , it gets me from A to B with still a full battery charge on eco mode I can't say that for the other modes cuz I haven't used them yet but my friends have so I'd have to say that this electric scooter is the best in my opinion and would recommend it to anyone else who may want to get it I would also recommend that hiboy customers use PayPal to purchase this product and any other products from hiboy I would also like to recommend not to download the hiboy app as it is completely dog water and doesn't work for shit after reading everyones else's reviews and for those of you who want to download the hiboy app for the extra features just letting you know that I warned you.

I love my scooter, I ride it everyday!! I also have an electric bike but I prefer my scooter. Only thing is when I ordered my scooter I was supposed to get a waterproof scooter storage bag and I never did get it. I emailed them and never heard back. But I love the scooter ❤️

Hi following previous review, the battery takes approx 6
hours to recharge from one red bar. Is that normal? Time wise, How long does the full battery last for travelling at 20-35 km for most of the travel time? Thanks Viv

J’ai eu une segway g30 dans le passé une méchante amélioration suspension au deux roue pneu plus gros repose pieds plus long et large tableau de bord couleur guidon haut vraiment très belle on dirait une segway sur les stéroïdes!! Voilà ça fais 3 semaines que nous avons nos deux trottinettes et ont à parcourue pas mal de kilomètres. Piste cyclable, route et sentiers. Elle sont parfaite.

- Solide je peux vous en assurer 😉 je suis retomber adolescent de 50ans à 16 ans hahaha je lui en ai demandé a cette petite bête là dans les sentiers mais elle m'a plus que surpris mêmesi j'ai pas des pneus off-road. Très bonne accélération, très bonne autonomie même en mode sport. Je dirais qu'en mode sport on fait régulièrement environ 45 kilomètres sur une pleine charge et il nous reste encore 15%. En mode éco on devrait faire environ 70 kilomètres mais pas testé encore. L'indicateur de batterie par contre manque de précision car quand il te reste exemple 25%, tu éteint et tu rallume et pouff il te reste 65% bizarre.

-Côté confort c'est le top. Il manque juste un banc pour se reposer pendant des longues balade. Il ne sont pas encore disponibles au Canada ☹️La suspension avant et arrière fait vraiment bien le travail. Les pneus 11 pouces gonflables sont vraiment bien et silencieux. Je maintient 32psi.

-Top speed 35 km/hrs atteint sans problème en mode sport et j'ai un poids de 178lbs. Pour monter des pentes, aucun problème avec ça. Le moteur de 500/650watt fais la job. 20% sans problème. Très stable et très maniable.

- Le seul problème c'est l'application mobile. Elle fonctionne bien mais je trouve qu'elle est trop basic. L'application de la S2-Pro est mieux. Manque d'option de configuration comme sur la S2-Pro. Comme un beau cadran de vitesse 😉 Surtout que cette trottinette à beaucoup de potentiel. Pour ce qui est de l'éclairage de nuit c'est parfait. Il reste à voir la fiabilité dans le temps. Mais pour l'instant je recommande sans hésiter. 🤘

Amazing scooter for city riding and hills.
I was honestly surprised by the power. Even on steep streets it keeps good speed in Sport mode. The battery life is also very good for daily use.

Easy setup, smooth ride, and great value for the price. Very happy with my Hiboy S2 Max.

Bought for pretty cheap and has a great range for the price. I like the different modes and it is good at accelerating. The ride can be very smooth and I really recommend it.

Just tried it today, it is very quiet and the range is good even if there are a lot of hills (for reference I live in Quebec city), but the one thing I'm disappointed is that it came with one hell of a scratch on the back and the valve steam extension is missing.

Update : the customer service is very good they've send me some spare parts.

The Hiboy S2 MAX is dope AF. Primarily purchased for my downtown Boston commuting, I find myself making excuses to take joyrides.
This scooter is quick. Top speed on flat surface roads is consistently 19mph, but I've hit 25mph downhill. Charges a little quicker than advertised imo.

I bought this scooter to go to work and run errands during the warmer months here in Quebec and I am happy with my purchase. Worth the buy with the discount. The only negative is that riding in the city, you get less than half the miles on a charge that what is advertised. I weigh 200 pounds and get a maximum of 20 miles on a full charge.

I think the design and engineering, the manufacturing of the bike is great - while there are still lingering front brake issues, the problem is the support. They are in Asia and spend days if not weeks trying to communicate with the time delay it makes things very frustrating, I was offered $50 to see a local bike shop for repairs for something that should have been working from day one. I am very dissatisfied with the service model, imagine when I need parts or something preventing the bike from actually working. So mixed feelings for sure, you would think Hiboy would make arrangements for support in North America or sign resellers to support their product.

Also their serial number is printed on a curve in two lines and almost impossible to recognize. There is no way UL would allow for this, it’s supposed to be certified. Have any idea how many times I had to email support with this number under the bike to get a validation of my serial number for support ? How many days it took just to get that ironed out?

Definitely a fun ride, it was very easy to assemble love the fat tires great all around bike it's quick when you need it to be. When riding this hiboy it turns alot of heads people notice it because of the looks and also the power it has. Great stopping power love the horn and lights.Still enjoy riding my Marin San Rafael DS4 30 speed also a fun bike to ride.

I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars it is a really good bike for a first time owner. The Only Thing ive noticed is on pure electric mode the battery's life isn't all that great I've been using it to commute to and from work at only 9km per way the battery seems to be needing a charge every night but thats just a minor issue the rest of the bike is amazing and I am looking forward to using it for a while to come!!

I love my new EX6 I had my heart set on this bike after reading so many great customer reviews both on the bike itself and the outstanding customer service, my experience to date has been no different and I waited months for this bike to come back in stock and I’m so glad I did. It was easy to put together especially with an extra set of hands I’ve just had one issue the front brakes are loud they screech when I brake. I sent a video off to customer service and they responded with a workaround and video, it is better but not perfect so I may need to bring the bible to a bike shop and have a professional look at it. Other than that the bike is comfortable, rides great awesome suspension, love the size it’s not to big and really enjoying having the different modes, great battery life! Big shout out to Mina-Hiboy Support Team thank you for your endless support over the last few months - highly recommend Hiboy you will not be disappointed!

Really nice e-bike. Confortable seats, easy to ride. The only thing is that I ordered 2 HiBoy e-bikes, 1 white and 1 black. I got 2 white e-bikes instead,with one with a scratch on the frame. :(

As much as I was looking forward to my bike, what I received was a box infested with an entire colony of ants and it was terrifying. My partner is allergic to them so I had to immediately throw the entire packaging outside my apartment door and call someone from the building to come and pick it all up and I had to pay them. I couldnt touch them myself because I risked hurting my partner. I have images and videos of the incident. It was a tough situation.

Otherwise the bike works fine at the moment, I still see ants crawling around here and there.

Good product. Superb quality. Only problem is tools included in the package to assemble bike is not enough. Had trouble mounting steering and paddle's with included tools. This can be improved. Product quality is superb battery performs well and get full charged in 4 hours. Delivery was on time however packaging could be improved. Got a damaged spoke. However tightening spoke screw fixed the problem. Overall having good experience using it. And more importantly it’s fun riding 😁😁. Of course not in Canadian winter. It’s good to roam around on it in town. It’s a good fit for a person with average height(5’4 to 5’6). For taller persons seat needs to be adjusted.

Only drove it a little cause too much snow and ice for me. But the ride that I had was amazing. Came professionally packaged took about 20 minutes to assemble. Very well built bike and great price. Delivery was fast very happy.

I use around 15 min to assemble by myself. You can choose a work-through model to easily move it to your backyard.
The battery is removable. You can leave your bike outside and charge the battery indoors.
Fat tires give you a smoother and safer ride, even after snowing. It also works perfect at the beach. You can ride it to enjoy the sunshine and breeze at the beach.
